  1. Nice picture of Ave. 1re in Verdun, it brings back pleasant memories for me as I once lived in Verdun at 272 rue Rielle.
I now live in Rothesay, New Brunswick and I drive my companion Fiona with stories of Verdun, she,s never been there, but we both hope to get up to Montreal this summer and she wants me to take her over to Verdun.

  2. Interesting photo of a typical Verdun street.
My companion Ken tells my stories of living in Verdun on rue Rielle, I grew up in St. Stephen, New, Brunswick a small town, I’ve been to Montreal in the past but never to Verdun.
I hope to get there myself this summer and have Ken show me around.

  3. Glad you enjoyed the photo, it’s actually part of a larger series of photos I did for the Citynoise blog which can be seen here: http://www.citynoise.org/article/5494

Verdun is an interesting place, I lived there for about a month before certain circumstances involving a crazy landlord forced me to leave. I found Verdun to be a very friendly and livable place. The houses are beautiful, the people are neighbourly, there’s lots of green space and the waterfront is wonderful in the summer. It’s close to downtown without being part of the hustle and bustle as well.

I’m also from New Brunswick. I grew up in Sussex then lived in Fredericton for a couple years before moving to Montreal. I hope you two enjoy your visit when you make it to Montreal!
