With architecture and design students back in classes at schools across the city, the other sure sign of fall in the Nation’s Capital is the Ottawa Regional Society of Architects’ annual Architecture Week Ottawa.

Taking place this year from October 1-5th at the Saint Brigid’s Centre for the Arts (310 Saint Patrick Street), a collection of events include a talk on Arctic Adaptation by Lola Sheppard, building and gallery tours, a guided walk of the Lansdowne Redevelopment site, film screening and evening social for ORSA members. There is also a Kid’s Clinic on the Saturday in addition to other planned events and activities.

Most events are open to the public, save for those specified as for ORSA or OAA members only. So, whether you are in the profession or simply have a passion for great design, Architecture Week is sure to stir your imagination.
