Ensuring the publicness of the political arena requires the active participation of citizens. It is for this reason that we encourage our readers to attend a briefing on Tuesday, May 29th, on federal, provincial, and municipal eco-priorities.

Hosted by Urban Intelligence, panelists will include President of Pollara Inc., Don Guy, City of Toronto Councillor Paula Fletcher (also the Chair of Toronto’s Parks and Environment Committee), and Tim Kennedy, the Director of the Natural Resources and Environment Practice at Global Public Affairs in Ottawa. Participants will also include special guest speaker The Honourable Laurel Broten, Ontario’s Minister of the Environment.

  1. Wow, I can’t think of a better way to keep the political arena public than charging $150 to listen to a panel including elected officials talk in private about politics!

    Am I missing something?
