WHAT: First Annual Hallowheelin’ Urban Cycling Challenge
WHEN: Saturday, 31 October 2009.
Registration from 5:30 to 6:45pm. Ride starts @ 7pm M sharp
WHERE: Manic Coffee, 426 College St, Toronto
COST: $8 To Ride, Includes Halloween After Party at Cinecycle

Not only is this Saturday Halloween it’s also the first ever Hallowheelin’ Urban Cycling Challenge.

Presented by Sudio tofu, in conjunction with Dandyhorse Magazine, Now Magazine, and Spacing,  Hallowheelin’ is an urban scavenger hunt on bikes. Participants will have to find 5 checkpoints and will have to collect evidence proving they were at each one. The event is Open to all cyclists of all skill levels.

Two Courses: Easy and Hard

Details will be provided at Manic Coffee at the time of registration. Make sure to get to Manic Coffee on time. The ride Starts at 7:00 PM SHARP!

Lights and a bag mandatory. Costumes are strongly suggested. Helmets suggested. After the ride everyone is welcome at a bike party at the world famous bike punk haunt CINECYCLE  (401 Richmond, around back, off Spadina).

Tonnes of prizes furnished by: Manic Coffee, Bikes On Wheels, Cycle Solutions, MEC, Origins Coffee, Blondie’s Espresso Bar, Sweet Pete’s, Bombshelter, Jet Fuel Coffee, Franklin Tattoo, Spacing, and Great Lakes Brewery. All proceeds going to FoodShare.

  3. DUDE! I’m 39, still shred BMX and haloween costumes rule! NEVER grow up, just get responsible enough to pay you’re way, and HAVE FUN!!! think outside of the box, and let go of that nasty EGO
