Urban Planet: Argentinian Book Patrol

Urban Planet is a daily roundup of  blogs from around the world dealing specifically with urban environments. We’ll be on the lookout for websites outside the country that approach themes related to urban experiences and issues.

Argentinian artist, Raul Lemesoff, has transformed a 1979 Ford Falcon into a roving library. The vehicle, which used to belong to the Argentine armed forces, is now a ‘Weapon of Mass Instruction.’ While the Falcon generally roams the streets of Buenos Aires, it occasionally goes off roading to smaller centres where access to literature is more limited.
