Headspace VIDEO: Anna Simone, The PUG Awards

June 7, 2012 | By Luca De Franco

Anna Simone is co-founder of the PUG Awards. Each year, the PUGs hold an online vote to determine the best and worst of Toronto architecture. Award organizers list all recently completed Toronto buildings above 50,000 feet of floorspace on the PUG website and then invite the general public to assess each building and have their say — Do they “like it”, “love it” or “hate it?” Spacing sat down with Anna to discuss why she launched the PUGs and if she believes the awards have helped improve the quality of architecture and planning in Toronto.
