Hello Detectives
If you go out in the woods today, you’re in for a big surprise. The animals dressed in costumes for a Halloween party! Who was the knight, who was the robot?
Critter Capers is back with another fun, free Halloween-themed mystery. The Masquerade Mystery will take place at Tynehead Regional Park in Surrey on Sunday October 26th, from 1 – 4 pm.
Here’s what happened: Caitlin the crow hosted a Halloween costume party for her forest friends. She knew who was supposed to come to the party by the RSVPs to her invitations but she had a problem. Because everyone was wearing costumes, she couldn’t figure out who was who. Help Caitlin gather clues from the remains of apple bobbing, dancing and other Halloween party shenanigans to determine which animal was wearing each costume.
This free family event is ideal for detectives ages six and older. Meet at the Tynehead Hatchery Entrance off of 96th Avenue. Allow 1 hour to walk the loop trail and solve the case. Complete the mystery before 4 pm and receive a reward.
