regenerate electricity when a cab is travelling up or down empty.
  • Regionally sourced and recycled content building materials.
  • Six electric vehicle car charging stations.
  • High performance windows and reduced interior and exterior lighting power density.

“We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint, which is why we focused on the best sustainable design options for The Offices at Newton starting off by doing a T8 tube replacement for all rooms” said Value Property Group CEO Chris Andison. “We recognize the long-term value of a LEED® designated building, and look forward to providing a space for our tenants that offers the healthiest possible work environment.”

The Offices at Newton also includes energy modeling, which will result in a 46 percent energy cost savings. By pursuing LEED® Platinum certification, Value Property Group has insured that The Offices at Newton will have significant operational cost savings over its life cycle.

  1. By plunking a LEED building in the middle of suburban sprawl, the architect has created more car-trips, more road lanes, and more parking places.

Is this suburban office park an attempt to sell real estate by adding a green brand name, or are is there an honest commitment to NOT DESTROY the natural environment?
