The new issue of Spacing is about to come back from the printer which can only mean that a release party is around the corner!

Come celebrate the release of our national edition — Cities For People — focused on four themes: livable civic spaces, social-purpose arts, the shared economy, and empowering citizens to reappropriate their cities. We’ve already published a handful of articles on these topics on Spacing.ca.

And what better place to to launch this issue than at the Centre for Social Innovation? This is the last event we’ll be hosting at CSI as we begin to move over to our new retail space at 401 Richmond, set to open in the fall.

Subscribers will begin to receive their copies on the week of July 14th. Copies will appear on newsstands around the same time, but will take more time to arrive the further you are away from Toronto.

BONUS: the launch will be the first time The Trouble With Brunch: Work, Class and the Pursuit of Leisure will be on sale in Toronto, the brand new book out by Spacing‘s Senior Editor Shawn Micallef, published by our friends at Coach House Books.
