  1. “What he’s being forced to do, because of the political heat on the issue, is backtrack on his original position…” croaks the NDP’s environment critic. You’d think that he’d be at least a little happy about a move away from mega-projects and toward conservation, but then he couldn’t squeal “flip-flopper”. A politician first, a policy critic second.

    For added flavour, consider what he would’ve said if the plan *hadn’t* changed in the face of public opposition. Would he be commending the minister’s commitment?

  2. It’s interesting that the http://www.mynewstreetcar.ca website requires Flash to be installed before users can choose the “Non – Flash Version Enhanced for the Visually Impaired”.

    I wonder what that says about accessibility on the new streetcars.
