The Toronto Coalition for Active Transportation, a group of organizations who have come together to push for improvements for pedestrians and cyclists in Toronto, has recently started a weekly email newsletter that summarizes current walking and cycling issues in the city, and how citizens can get involved.
One of the problems when trying to get specific pedestrian and cycling improvements implemented in Toronto has been that it has been hard to get supporters organized to tell city council there are citizens in Toronto who want them to happen. The newsletter is a start towards developing that kind of coordination. Please do sign up if you are interested in these issues.
