I got this quote from Councillor Howard Moscoe in June while tracking down the story about the Conservative attack ads on gas pumps. The quote just didn’t quite fit in the post I was writing but with a federal election now underway (and a little arm-twisting from a friend of Spacing), this seems as good a time as any to share that quip for your reading amusement.
“I have heard that they (the Conservatives) are changing from attack ads to porn movies (on gas pumps) so you can watch someone else being screwed at the same time that you do. They are, after all, in bed with the oil companies.”
No analysis necessary.

wow, I never thought I’d be impressed by something Howard Moscoe said. Maybe hell actually is freezing over. Either that or Rob Ford has take over the position of ‘city asshole’ full-time.
