It’s that time of year again! Word On The Street, the country’s largest book and magazine festival, takes place on Sunday afternoon at Queen’s Park. Spacing is in the same place as last year at the corner of Queen’s Park Circle and St. Joseph’s St. We’ll be selling lots of stuff, including a lot of great deals:

Back issues for $3 or two mags for $5
• Buttons for $2 (subway stations, towns, and highways sets), or 3 for $5
• Magnets (subway stations) for $3 (one-inch) and $4 (1.5 inch)
• T-shirts (Toronto towns) for $25

As you can see, we’ll be selling the new issue. It will hit newsstands on Tuesday Sept. 28, but you’ll be able to grab you copy in advance at the Word On The Street. Subscribers will begin to receive their copies at the end of this week.

  1. Word on the Street is also in Vancouver, Halifax, Saskatoon and Kitchener!

  2. wont’ be able to make WOTS this year 🙁
any chance you’ll offer the back issue deal online? I’d love to complete my collection!

  3. @Zukeeper: Not online, no (because of shipping costs), but if the sale is successful on Sunday we may hold a similar deal at other upcoming events. We’ll keep you posted.
