Dear Torontonians,

It’s that time of year again, and the folks at ERA Architects, Spacing Magazine, Toronto Society of Architects, [murmur] and University of Toronto Cities Centre are throwing the 7th annual Toronto the Good party!

The Toronto the Good parties bring together a broad cross-section of Torontonians who are interested in the City and in city building. The first Toronto the Good parties took place at the Distillery District, but there was one at Fort York, when the Mayor shot off a cannon. The 2011 invasion of Hart House is a new venture to celebrate the University of Toronto’s Cities Centre.

This year, partners have expanded to include the National Film Board, the United Way, the Carpenters’ Union, Coach House Books, and the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects.

The party’s programme includes the now traditional stickering of the Big Map of Toronto, tours of Hart House and its iconic Soldiers Tower, posters from the Tower Neighbourhood Renewal Symposium being held at Hart House prior to the party, catering by Marco Tucci, music by Tom Kuo & Alan Webb, and other charming activities.

Come out May 12th to have a drink with people who care about the City!
