The Street Food Block Party was a collaboration between the Toronto Underground Market and the Food Truck Eats that drew a crowd of well over 3,000 people. Taking place in May at the Evergreen Brick Works, attendees were surrounded by over 30 of the best food, beer, wine and food truck vendors from across Ontario. Regardless of the long lines, food enthusiasts waited patiently while listening to local bands. With the current debate over food trucks at City Hall, we are hopeful to see a lot more street-food in Toronto soon.
