WHAT: Spacing Store presents: Iconic Waterfront T-Shirt Design Contest

THE CHALLENGE:
The Spacing Store and Waterfront Toronto have teamed up to challenge Canadian illustrators and graphic designers to create their own original t-shirt design that celebrates Toronto’s waterfront. For over a decade, Waterfront Toronto has been transforming the spaces along the lake shore. This contest is an opportunity for artists and graphic designers to express their affection for the city’s unique and evolving waterfront.
The t-shirt designs can focus on a number any number of areas and places along our shoreline, such as HTO Park, Sugar Beach, Queens Quay, Sherbourne Common, Music Garden, Spadina, Simcoe and Rees WaveDecks, Canada Malting Plant silos, the ferry boats or ferry terminal, the Sundial Folly sculpture, Martin Goodman Trail, The Islands or Centreville, Natural spaces like the mouth of the Don River, Scarborough Bluffs, or Leslie Spit, and places such as The Beaches, Sunnyside Pavilion, and the Humber Bay bridge.
The five winning designs selected will be sold in the Spacing Store (401 Richmond St. W.) with part of the proceeds going to local advocacy group Park People.
