Walk21 Toronto Community Conference

In October last year, Toronto hosted the major international conference about walking, Walk21. Experts from around the world, including Toronto, spoke on a remarkable range of issues. Unfortunately, as a largely professional conference, the entry fee was extremely expensive, so few citizens of Toronto were able to participate.

To enable any Torontonian with an interest in walking to experience some of the insights of the conference, the City of Toronto, in partnership with TCAT and Spacing, has organized a “Walk21 Toronto Community Conference.” Local experts who presented at the Walk21 conference are going to present their material again to the public, for free, at an open conference at Metro Hall on March 1.

We’d like to invite anyone who is interested in walking in any shape or form to join us on March 1 for what promises to be an enlightening day. Here are the details:
