The Commercial Drive, Main Street and West End (Denman Street) festivals take place on Sunday, June 17th (Father’s Day) from 12 noon until evening. The Kitsilano block parties will be held Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th.
Car Free Vancouver Day is 100% volunteer organized and run and we still need many day-of volunteers for the major street festivals who can spare even just a few hours to help make this year’s festivals amazing. You can sign up right now! We need help with setting up, tearing down, music stages, kid zones, bike valet, collecting donations, manning barricades and more.
It’s really a ton of fun; you’ll meet great people and will have an opportunity to consider how Vancouver’s neighbourhoods can continue to build community and reduce car dependency. An extra bonus is that the Car Free Vancouver Day After-Party has a kicking line-up and our lovely volunteers attend for free!
