The annual Great Places in Canada competition celebrates those special locations that people most.
Canada has an abundance of great places, and everybody has a place they feel passionate about. It may be a street, a neighbourhood, or an open space. There is something about it that inspires and delights.
Vote for the Peoples’ Choice
Canadians can search the nominations submitted so far, and vote for the Peoples’ Choice awards in three categories:
The winners—“Great Places”—in each category for 2014 will be determined by a panel of professional planners chosen by the Canadian Institute of Planners. They will be chosen not only because of their popularity but because they exemplify the highest standards of planning.
To participate, vote for your great place. Voting continues until September 25, 2014.
