EVENT: Justice in Housing in Toronto

The Justice in Toronto Lecture Series will hold its second event of 2014 on Thursday, February 27. This evening lecture will explore Justice in Housing in Toronto and will feature speakers David Hulchanski, Professor of housing and community development at the University of Toronto, and Derek Ballantyne, CEO of the Community Forward Fund and consultant at DKGI Inc.  Hulchanski is the author of the seminal Three Cities within Toronto report, documenting our city’s growing income inequality, and Ballantyne is the former CEO of Toronto Community Housing, former COO of Build Toronto, and winner of the  2009 Jane Jacobs Prize.

The Justice in Toronto Lecture Series aims to address sources of injustice in Toronto and propose ways to make the city more just. Future lectures will look at Employment and Justice in Toronto (March 20) and Education & Justice in Toronto (April 17).
