Neighbourhood walks in west Toronto

Architectural/social historian Alec Keefer, President of Architectural Conservancy Toronto, is leading a series of walks in Parkdale, High Park and the Liberty areas on Sunday afternoons during the summer and fall, rain or shine. (All proceeds support Parkdale Community Information Centre).

The next one is this Sunday:
Living South of King — August 7, 2005
“This walk features residential architecture of the highest quality in the area from Dunn Avenue east to Tyndal Avenue. You will trace the evolution of the design of turn-of the 20th century housing as well as the growth and development of apartment buildings between 1910 and 1970. Sunday, August 7, 2005. Meet at 1 PM at Dunn and King.”

High Park Boulevard – September 11, 2005
Queen Street West – September 18, 2005

All walks start at 1:00 PM and last approximately 2 hours.
Fee: $10:00 per walk
