Occasionally Toronto filmmaker James Leahy puts together some of the Super 8 footage he shot in Toronto from the late 1980s onwards. Back in June we posted his film from the 1988 Toronto Pride parade. Here’s a short piece wandering Allan Gardens and Cawthra Park in 1993. From James:

Super-8 and 16 mm film. Colour and black and white. Shot in Cawthra Park, Toronto, and Allan Gardens, Toronto, 1993.
Thanks to Peter Cregan for camera operation in pixelation sequence.
Music: Pat Metheny Group, “The Bat, Part II.” The squeaky sounds you hear are bats singing.
