The Star’s Fixer column has an interesting postscript: the chairs at HtO are to be removed, and “they were never meant to be a permanent fixture.”
So if you want to sit on the sand under one of those yellow umbrellas, bring your beach blanket. Until the sand is trucked away “for cleaning,” I suppose.
