Every April, Toronto Public Library reminds us how much this city loves to read with Keep Toronto Reading, a month-long celebration of literature.
At the centre of Keep Toronto Reading is One Book, a city-wide book club and event series focussed on a single title. This year, Ray Bradbury’s Farenheit 451 is TPL’s One Book, and events include a series of dystopian movie nights, an anime costume party, story-time with firefighters, and KTR 451, an alternate reality game you can call-in to join starting tomorrow. If you use Twitter and take the TTC, you can join the conversation with the haghtag #OneBookTTC.
For those who prefer a more classic book-club format, there are dozens of meet-ups happening at branches across town throughout the month.
